What happens during analysis
Every run performs four distinct passes so you can trust the score you receive.
Decode & clean
We resample the audio, fold it to mono, and trim noise based on your instrument profile.
Run pitch model
Spotify's Basic Pitch model evaluates the clip in short windows to identify dominant frequencies.
Refine notes
Detected pitches are merged, filtered by sensitivity, and aligned with the custom pitch range (if enabled).
Build score & MIDI
We convert notes to readable notation, compute insights, and prepare SVG/PNG/MIDI for download.
Troubleshooting tips
- If the score looks empty, lower sensitivity to Relaxed or widen the pitch range in Advanced detection.
- Notice random spikes? Switch noise handling to Studio clean or trim the clip to remove silence.
- Very long tracks (over 3 minutes) can slow analysis; clip the important section for faster results.
